How does the amp respond to OD' pedals when itself is in it's own optimal crunch to distortion mode? Does it thicken and continue to sustain with good clarity? I am used to classic gain structure found in the Carvin Legacy so it's pretty gained out, but smooth and very touch sensitive, however, it does not offer the classic clean and crunch mode the Remedy has so thats why I am looking to cover close to what i am currently getting as well as the new tone from the Remedy??

It does pretty well with dirt pedals IMO. I've been using a skreddy screwdriver and an eternity and I can get great smooth sustaining OD and moderate vols. I do have to really roll back the treble, and run the gain about 1/3.

The Rem likes ODs. i used an ocd with a Java Boost for 18 months and loved it...Now I have an new Xotic BB Custom Shop with Mid Boost to add. I'll give info when I get My new Rem in a week or so. I had to sell First Rem to pay bills and save a 59 RI from the auction block. I can replace a Z very consistent as opposed to finding a SOLID ( not so consistent Les Paul) 7lb 10 oz fantastic and light R9.

Picked it up second hand from a fella in To. Really love this amp. Brighter/tighter/louder than the Route 66, but both are keepers for sure. I've been using a brake lite and my 112 cab with the Cel Gold, and its just about perfect.

Hey cragginshred, I find that with the Rem set at near nazz levels, I virtually never want to hit the overdrive pedal. Set the Rem volumes at about 11:30-12:30 for a Tele and you can dial in whatever amount of fuzz you want with your Tele volume knob. I take lotsa solos without diming my guitar volume! Want crazy fuzz on that rare tune?, just dial up your Rem's 1st vol control to 3 o'clock and go crazy. At least that's one fool's opinion.
jj
not a fuzz pedal guy. don't mind an occasional tremolo or chorus or wha and a tuner.

I use a BB pushed by an EP booster. When I tried that combo into a Remedy with a Strat it just killed. Huge Blackmore/Moore type tones.

Ive been using my Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive, with the gain almost off, and the volume up, just to push it into more overdrive.
I have an EP booster before the Sweet Honey as my lead boost.
Loving this setup!
