Please breakdown the tones of this amp. The demo vid on the Z site is good with the 1st 1/3 the best tone to my ears. So, is this primarily a crunch amp, how does it do with a quality OD in to the front end for increased sustain, what is the blend vol I/II deal, and lastly how do you get clean tones with it? Looking to get my 1st Z amp and want it to be the right one!

The video really showcases the Remedy's "high volume" crunch if I remember correctly, but it is capable of some pretty high headroom clean sounds also.
The Remedy takes overdrives, fuzzes, and boosts exceptionally well. As I mentioned earlier the remedy is also capable of some pretty serious high headroom clean sounds on full power mode, so this means that you can use your dirt boxes to do the talking if you want.
The high/normal loudness controls make this amp really unique. While the concept isn't necessarily new, the idea of being able to blend the two channels without a jumper cable is quite cool.
If you like the Marshall master volume crunch sound then you will likely set the "high" level to the desired breakup. Depending on your speakers this will happen somewhere around 12-2 on the dial. Then, you can then blend in the normal channel to fatten up the sound.
This is an option that I wish my JMP had, because the Remedy can not only get crunchy, but it can be thick at the same time. Also, unlike some amps you don't necessarily sacrifice articulation when adding thickness. This makes leads sound full, and yet you can play a chord and it isn't muddy.
In short, I have always described this amp as a refined Marshall. It is a blend of that "boutique" sound that often includes greater articulation, touch sensitivity, and note separation with classic Marshall punch and crunch.
Well, that's what I think anyways.

What he said! Quick edit: The Remedy rocks like crazy, but she does everything else too. Check Jaye's clips from a while back on this post - HOLY COW!

Yea. You can even play ''Long Train Running'' or ''Sultains of Swing'' (Real clean songs) on 1/2 power.

For clean with headroom and great pedal acceptance, I like to use full power, keep both volumes fairly low, use Brake Lite attenuation as needed and use guitar volume and tone to flavor the sound. YMMV, of course.
