les paul >1x12 ghia combo with celestion g12 unadulterated Z tone. that's all....
recorded last saturday night 9/11/10.... the video camera mic makes a total mess of the mix and sounds real ugly (except for the fact that my guitar sticks right out there). great monitors had the band sounding huge and fantastic on stage! guess the front of the house wasn't such a good sound. we had fun. the video is incomplete because it was shot that way. I've been told this is our band's version of the Taj Mahal version of "She Caught The Katy" [NOTE: for those who care... V@12 o'clock / T@1 o'clock / Brakelite@3)

thanks Mark. everyone please note the keyboard player next to me in the video... 88 years old and the most enthusiastic member of the band! He has had at least 3 different musical careers over his life-time and while steeped in the traditional American songbook, this type of music is completely new to him and he thoroughly enjoys himself. Never stop growing and keep on rocking!

You are very fortunate to be in such a group!

Sounds pretty great to me - most YouTube vids of live performances just bury the guitar, so I appreciate one that "features" our favorite instrument.
Nice playing too, by the way - very nice!

Thank you, Steve. I was shocked at how pronounced the guitar was... of course, in reality the bass was probably pretty full and loud out front too but you just can't hear it with those small buit-in mic's.

Love it! Brakelite huh? Something I need to consider then for my Ghia decision. Indeed. If you're going to put out the $$ for the amp and you'll be using it for gigging, I highly recommend spending a little extra on a brake-lite.

G12M or G12H speaker in your Ghia? Neither.... it's an Alnico Blue.
