The Remedy has arrived. Only had about 20 minutes to play through it at lunch. Turned everthing to noon just to get a feel for it. It doesnt sound (to me) like anything I have played through. Great first impression.

Welcome and congrats on the Remedy! I'm with you...the Remedy is unlike any amp I've ever played through! I just got an AirBrake hooked up to it and it sounds even sweeter. And my ears don't ring as bad! Enjoy...I know I am!~

Yeah, the wife walked in the room, stood for a minute and said "thats the best sounding one yet. I dont wanna know what it cost..." and walked out. The Badger 30 may have to go. Wanna run it at a gig or two first though.

Dude, Welcome to Remedy world. It'll do what ever you ever need it to do, ever. Here's some karma for having a wife that would actually notice, much less say such a thing!

Finally did my first gig with the thing last night. Took me a set to get used to the amp. The more you turn it up, the more sensitive she is. lol. Sat in the mix better than any amp I have tried yet. (we run two guitars so it can be hard not to muddy the mix up sometimes) Just really sang nice with everything else going on. Hit it with a Fuzz Head at the start of the night for solos, just what I was used to doing. By the end of the night, I just used my volume knob on the guitar. The louder it gets, the better it sounds. Nice!

Yep. I found that I like it fine here at home, but once I get it in a band mix I just can't get enough of it. It's definitely a performer's amp.

I had a jam the other day (don't play as often as I'd like) and took the Remedy out for a test drive in liew of the Maz Jr. I use 2 Mesa Thiele cabs with evm12l drivers. After much testing at very high volume I landed on these settings - Bass 9 o'clock, mid and treb at 3 o"clock , high at 12 o'clock and normal at 1 o'clock. full power. Still was a bit bassy but that may have to do with the cabs. VERY Marshally. I agree 100% about the sensitivity and overall sound at higher volumes. I totally prefer the full power as well (the half power is actually quite nice BUT - LOL). I also ended up using the guitar volume for leads and more gain etc. I think after some more play time at rehearsal volume, I will likely end up with a boost (which wil likely be left on all the time and an airbrake.
