Alright folks, I have a Remedy on the way. Has anyone used a Mesa Boogie 3/4 back cab with it? Its loaded with a V30, well broken in.

I have not tried a 3/4 back Mesa, but tried a Mesa open back at the dealer when i was trying out my Remedy... I have an open back with a V30 that i have been running it through for a month or so.. Sounds very good, has a good open airy 3D type sound with the open back.. V30 is a very good speaker some say it has to much in the upper mids, which can be true, but that is also what helps you cut through in the mix.. I just keep my mids or high volume a bit lower and it evens out..

I ran my Remedy through my 3/4 Closed Back and it was outstanding. Heck, everything I've run through that cab sounds good.

The V30 does have a very noticable upper mid spike in tone. Some people like it, some don't. For me...because of that spike, I consider it a very 'rock and roll' speaker.
The Remedy already has a nice upper mid crunch to it...so the V30 sort of doubles up on that. I used to have a V30 and I used it with my Remedy. It was nice...but like I said...very hard rock sounding. A person has to really like that sound.
But if you're ears like it...then it's good.

Cool. That has pretty much been my experience with the 3/4 back cab as well. Have yet to find something that sounds bad through it. Remedy should be in the end of this week.

Well as in a seperate post got the Remedy in today. Why yes. Yes it does sound good through the Mesa. It has a little faster "shimmer" then the badger 30 I have but it sounds wonderful. Just turned all the knobs to noon and stepped back. Just rediculous. Worth the wait, lives up to the hype.
Threw a Keeley Fuzz Head and Keeley modded BD-2 out front. Holy smokes. Curious how the Z-Best cab would stack up. The Mesa is one seriously good sounding cab. Maybe next year.
