Yup. There's a thread somewhere here in the Rem area going over the clean and/or country capability. Also check out some vids gotmojo posted up in the Z Lounge. CSNY covers with a Tele through the Rem, if I remember correctly. Very nice.

Remedy sounds GREAT with a Tele: Grosh Retro classic VT > Remedy > THD 2×12 (Alnico Golds) Bass: 2 o’clock Middle: Dimed Treble: 2 o’clock Hi: Dimed Normal: Dimed Half Power blog.strayca.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/teleremedyrant.mp3 - maybe not as much twang set this way as you might want, but with 40 watts available, you can turn the volumes to the left and get considerably cleaner than this clip. But what a fun amp with a Tele! OH MY!

When the Remedy is cranked, I'm always enjoying it.

I would think you'd turn the mids down.
And carrjimi...you have a Stangray and a RxES...I would think that would handle the twang side of things.

The Remedy will definitely do country. No, it's not a blackface Fender, but our band does some Cash, Waylen, Hank, Dwight, Merle, Buck, etc., and it sounds great. I use a stock telecaster, the full power setting, and suck out the mids. Lotsa snap and sparkle with a little "hair" if you need it.

Absolutely it can.
If your hands cant twang, the Remedy will oblige.

Got the Remedy today. Very cool, changed out V1 and put in an RCA 12ax7. Very fendery sound mixed with Marshall. Got a country gig tonight in Brooklyn. I'll run it through it's paces and do a review and some sound clips tomorrow. ...Almost bought an EZG. It's going to be my next one.

Got a country gig tonight in Brooklyn. I don't know if that phrase has ever been said before in the history of the English language! Country gig? Turn the mids down. (In my opinion)

The gig went well. I had a tough time dialing in a twangy sound at first. At half power, it got dirty way too quickly. at Full power with the High volume on 11:00 and the low volime on 9:00 it sounded great.
Got another gig this weekend (Brooklyn again, they love their "redneck" music). I'm going to try it with a 2x10 and the Gold together.
Here's a aclip
