go eaze on me here...........1st post. H'yall doing? So, maybe dumb question, but a buddy and I were arguing about the effects of runnin' 2 z brakes in seris.......Would that make even more attenuation possibilites? Thx Art

Thx Art What do you hope to accomplish by doing this? The reason I ask is that you already have the ability to attenuate down to about the level of a mosquito, so adding a second one does what?

We were just wondering if it would work.............like double the atteneation. Just an argument over a couple o' beers. I said he was nuts

My biggest question would be with the resistance load. If running both in succession from one load could put extra strain on the amp's transformer. My science isn't strong enough to know if it would, but it'd be the question I'd ask someone much more intelligent than i.

Since I've never bothered to trace out a schematic of mine, I wouldn't be able to say what it's really doing to the loading, but I expect it would be a bad idea.

Sometimes when it's very late I attenuate since I can hear the original sound of the string louder than the amp!!
