Would it be cool if they come up w/ a REMEDY Jr or a 1/2 Dose in a 1x10 combo ? For use folks w/ bad backs and such. or sick of lugging cab and head. I never used it on 40 watts. I know, I'm a trouble-maker

I think it would be really nice to have a more compact, lighter weight 1x12 combo cab for the Remedy, Stang Ray, Maz etc chassis. As when you figure the dimensions required to properly house one of these chassis, a 12" will be an easy fit.

It would be a great option to get a small chassis combo for the most popular models.. I think the Doc did make some of the small sized Maz combos 'round 10 years ago... I wonder why he didn't keep doing it? If Mesa can cram 2 million channels into a short head version or the Mark X or whatever.. The Doc can make a small grab and go 1x12 or 1x10 that is under 40lbs. I know he can I have faith. ;D

I think my Remedy combo weighs about the same as my MAZ 18 1x12. A smaller chassis/cab would be nice, though.

ches, that's where my setting were on my Rem too ! It took me a second but once I went up-side-down ;D I cranked the volumes up last night and turned my Brakelite up a couple clicks just to mess with the OD tones. I might be making a change to those settings! Great overdrive, cleans up nicely without a tremendous loss of volume, especially if I split the humbucker on my McCarty. I totally dig this amp!

I'm all for smaller, lighter packages myself, but I've got to remember...the smaller the cab, the smaller the sound. The 1-12 convertable cab i just got sounds WAY bigger than my 12' blue in my Maz Jr combo with the same amp pushing them. I'll bet thats one reason the Doc started making the cab's a bit bigger...
A 10" speaker in a big cab would sound bigger than a 12" in a tiny cab...

Guys I played a Rem and Convertible cab for over 18 months and my Z28 1X10 sounds as big. This little Monster is Loud))) I played Saturday night at the same place I used my Rem two weeks ago. Here is my take; The Rem was on 20 watts Brake-lite on Zip 0. this wek w/ Z28 Same vol. 2x more audience. Z28 w/ BL on 2 clicks was LOUDER))))))))))). The Rem is the best sounding amp I've ever owned. I just could not lug Head and cab any more (a Bad Back) Maybe I should have bought a Remedy 1/2 power 1x10 w/Red Fang w/ Brake-Lite OH ! They don't have that yet. Hint Hint. Doc you hear me.
