I must say I love this thing even more that I did in the store!! It is freaking loud BTW.. I am gonna have to order an AirBrake. I love the clean this thing has, even more than I thought I would.. That's all I have really heard so far since I can't get it loud enough to here the break up. YET Just thought I would share.. Great clean sound on half power.. Strat, Tele, or LP all sound great..

Key word here - "YET" - glad to hear you're happy - the Remedy sounds like a real gem...

Dude, you gotta crank that mofo up, at least for 10 min or so. But yes, an Air Brake is necessary - I bought one about 3 days after I got my Remedy. Sounds great on the first 1-2 clicks. For home playing, I generally have the Remedy through a 1x12 (w/Scumback M75), on 1/2 power, 2 clicks on Air Brake, High/Normal volumes at 1 o'clock/11 o'clock (guitar is an LP). For practices/gigs, it's either a Z Best (G12M RI/Scumback H75) or 4x12 (all-G12M RI), full power, same volume settings, Air Brake on 1-2 clicks. Have fun (and crank for at least a few minutes... )

Yeah, loud is part of the sound with Z amps. The SRZ-65 lets you get pretty low volume tones via the master volume, but, like the Remedy, it always sounds better as you crank it! I wouldn't mind it though if the Remedy had a Master Volume- that would make things easier and put it higher on my wish list. Congrats though and enjoy! You already know what you are in for!
