I have totally moved away from Marshall style amps over the last year. Many of them are flat and colorless. I have an amp now that is great but I am aways on the make for a new amp. I would like something that is chimey and can do a dimensional sounding tone. I have never felt or heard this type of tone from any of my Marshall like amps. Right now I have it with my 65Amps tupelo.... Is the Remedy Z's best amp for me or is there a better choice?
Thought?

I think the Remedy Is a very 3D amp... Crisp cleans with plenty of headroom availible or flip to 1/2 power and bring the volumes up for some plexi roar with a hint of Fender in there.. I agree of the few Marshalls that I have played have been pretty dull.. Congrats on getting a 65 amp. I have tried almost every model and thought they sounded pretty good but the price is pretty high to me for what you get compared to a Z... Try the Remedy you will be drooling for more..

I agree that it's a very 3D amp, especially with a Celestion Gold. It's great with a couple Greenbacks, but that single Gold brings out the richness in the amp. I've never heard that with a Marshall.

very 3d sounding amp it when playing clean with my les paul it almost sounds like their a little reverb on even though i am just plugged straight in. The remedy is a great amp it has a marshally sound but i'm talking old school marshalls. i wouldnt quite describe it as chimey though. if you want clean and chimey you might try a maz. Goodluck

Huge 3D sound when cranked around the 1 o'clock/2 o'clock zone, as well. Incredible string-to-string evenness and wide, expansive sound, with any speakers I've tried.
You should check out the Guitar Player review (thread is in this forum), if you haven't already.
