Its supposed to be here monday. Im getting that nervous feeling in my stomach. I traded my maz jr 1 12 combo for the ghia and I just have a really good feeling about it. Probally cause Ive been playing thru a Fender deville for the past week and miss the tone of my old Z.

The ghia rocks... don't be nervous.. clearly the best amp the the doc makes.

welcome yinielin i've had a ghia head with 2x12 greenbacks for over a year- what a tone it's the first amp i've been able to go effects free into and solo with a clean tone and not had the notes get lost- and that's including my 1965 vibrolux reverb (the best of its type i've heard) i've now got a total bypass switch on my pedalboard- I've used cathode bypass amps before- the notes sing and sustain like nothing else clean or dirty and the harmonics- my brother had never heard this amp till recently- he asked have you got the guitar through chorus or something- it sounds so detailed and rich nope, that's the amp! all the best brett

Sweet rig... been playing one this way for years. You won't be disappointed. What type of 2x12 cab? Which speakers?

The Zbest. I think the guy said 80 watt celestions but I was probally gonna buy either silver bell/blue dog or v30/g12h to replace them unless I just loved the tone.

The amp is so bright but in such a good way. It has that chime that Ive been looking for but somehow without the harshness. Something that the maz jr couldn't do. It seemed when Id get the chime it would be to harsh. The Ghia doesn't take pedals as well as the maz jr I dint think. But the way the notes come out clean is amazing. Its not as loud as I thought it would be either thru the Zbest. Which I'm glad cause the places I normally play are small.

Your guitar's tone pot can be very helpful with the Ghia in particular.
