What is a good sounding Treble Booster that would sound good with the Remedy? Aint found any I like. I liked the Keeley Java Boost, though that was with a JCM800 2204, not the Remedy. I don't think the Remedy needs one. To be honest, the Remedy is such a smoking tone monster, with tons of gain on tap, to me pedals just get in the way. You end up playing the pedal and not the amp, if you know what I mean.

I know what ya mean. It probably dont need one. Agreed. Turn up the Hi vol and adjust the tone stack to suit. Should give you what you want.

After playing my Remedy a lot lately and still waiting for my Air Brake.. I have been using it for some amazing cleans and kicking in my OD's for drive.. Basically what I use my Maz for but the Remedy doesn't get as much hair so far..
For me I can go from LP Allman Brothers Jessica, then grab a Strat for some Hendrix/SRV, Tele for some Beck/Gatton...
Some OD's like my AC+ or BluesDriver and my LP is Robben Ford to ZZ TOP...

I was lookin for that sound like Clapton on the Beano Album, or John Mayell & The Bluesbreakers. I thought a treble boost would help get some of that sound.

Rumor has it Clapton used a treble boost (Dallas Rangemaster) with his JTM45 for his Bluesbreaker tone. Rory Gallagher and Brian May didn't sound too bad with one either.... We cover quite a few Rory (and clapton) tunes in our Classic Rock/Blues band and I have not quite been able to get the "correct" Rory sound through any mix if my current (and plentiful) pedals and amps: and I have spent many an hour twisting knobs! I have a Remedy coming (oh boy, oh boy) and while I'm sure it will be wonderful, I'll bet it will still be tough to get that sound without a treble booster. Hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised. I've been eyeballing the Hawk for quite a while and I'm thinking I might just have to spring for the Hawk to satisfy a long standing GAS attack......

Yea: A Keeley Java Boost or a Analogman Beano Boost are nice rangemaster clones. I have the Java cause' it has a tone knob. Both put the Rem in that Daunne Allman/ Blues Breaker Mode. Honkin Heavin. But remember I like pedals.

Well guy's....I'm here to tell ya, my aNaLoG.MaN Beano Boost kicks the Remedy's front in into an even more creamy, juicy, gainy sound, it's unbelievable. I knew it would and have been holding back my comment until I tried it for myself! ;D ... I've used my beano on several tube amps and the results are always yummy! It mates even better with the Remedy. Btw, not for boosting the treble, and/or not that the Remedy needs treble boosting, it just sends it into a wonderful singing sustaining lead tone. Also, the cool thing about the germanium beano is when you turn your guitar volume down past 8 in quickly transforms into a shimmering, sparkly clean sound. It's really a wonderful thing. Remedy & Beano =

Whats better for the Remedy a Air Brake or Brake Lite? Either is fine. Brake Lite can handle up to 45 watts, so no prob with Rem. The new standalone version of the BL is less $ than the Air Brake. Main reason to plunk down theextra dough is if you have other amps that put outmore watts than the BL is designed for, IMO.
