Am loving this Remedy!!! Can't seem to get enough, nor turn it off once plugged in. But here's the next question: does a body dats got a Remedy need a Galaxie to get that ole Fender thang going in a channel switching amp (which I've never been a fan of), or will it be a disappointment side by side to a Remedy? Your input please.
P.s. The Doc describes the channel 2 of the Galaxie as "smooth modern drive sounds". I wouldn't describe myself as modern in anything relating to music and guitar, being a fan of gear from the '50 and early '60's. Clapton, Petty, Dylan, Muddy Waters, etc being my background. Whadya think? Help a brother here.

Hey gotmojo,
I have a Galaxie on its way to me from one of the guys here. After I get a feel for it I'll do some a/b with the Rem and the Z-28, which I am liking a lot. First, though, I should be comparing the Rem and 28, but I get distracted by just playing these guys and basking in tone.

Galaxie & Remedy are whole different trip. I have both, & can't see parting w/either. The Remedy, is kind of Marshallesque.
As for the "modern" thing, the Galaxie is pure tweed, man. The dirty channel will make you sell your TS clones, & fuzzes. The cleans are superb, in a "tweed" way.

Whadya think? Help a brother here. If you haven't heard any of Tony's Galaxie clips, go over to the Audio section and scroll back a ways - he gets some of the most gnarly sounds out of his Galaxie. That thing sounds amazing. And entirely different from the Remedy. Do it!

I have been thinking of getting a Galaxie as well... My Maz Jr of 5 years or so is in danger of going down the road (I have been fighting with its bright to high-endedness) The Remedy is an awesome sounding clean machine to me..
I missed the reference to modern sound of CH 2 on the Galaxie, that's almost a another selling point to me.. I started out as an old school blues/rock player but play a lot of classic and modern country style stuff now...
I love the clean of a Haggard song or Allman Bros (Mellisa/Jessica, to the thick lead of Satch/Journey/Boston/GnR ect..
hahaha.....Wide range I know totally love them all...
