Played my second gig with the Monza 1X10 Combo last nite. Miced with a 57 to FOH, 52AVRI Thinskin Tele. Vol 10, Gain 9, Tone 11, BL 2. Absolutely fun and toneful. Cleaned up enough with the Tele, and I slammed the Monza with an M9 Distortions, and Delays for flavor. What a nice powerful amp in a grab and go package. Now what am I going to do with my CG Head?

I'm liking keeping it simple lately, with easy load ins and outs! Why would I need more than the Monza anyway? BTW, I really love the CG/Avatar/Blue, but if I would have had the Monza first, I probably wouldn't have bought the CG.

To add something from my last post, I think I'll be selling my Mesa Lonestar Classic. I really think the Monza keeps up with the Boogie, and I aint lying. Who needs to lug a 75lb. amp around these days anyway?

Now if I hadn't have just bought mu Ghia, I would have happily taken off your hands, doh! I adore the Ghia, no question, but everyone to their own ;D Glad you loving the Monza

Glad you're digging it. I have mine set pretty much the same as you. I sometimes turn the drive down when a "thinner" tone is called for on a song -- if the amp is easily within reach!

I've been using my Monza at rehearsals as we audiion bassists. I cannot get over what you can do with this amp minimal effort. A guitar, a cord, a volume knob, a pickup switch....
