Can the Remedy give me a good deep tone? Can it handle drive pedals well?

It takes pedals very, very well. Although if it's going to be cranked, and it's a pedal that requires a squeaky clean tone (like a wampler triple wreck, etc.), use the 40 watt mode to get a little extra clean headroom. It loves overdrives.
Can you be more specific on a "deep tone"? The tone is certainly good, and it's got plenty of bass for what I've used it for.

I don't own the Remedy but it is going to be my next Z. I have played one at my dealer a few times and was able to use my board with it the last time..
It likes pedals very well and for a deep tone if you mean a lot of bass its got loads especially with the Z-Best.. I liked it best with an open back at least for me. It does clean very well to, very clean to me on on full power.. I could barley stand to be in the same room with it on full power and the volumes past noon..

I plan on gettin one and runnin that Wampler PlexiDrive through it. The good deep tone I'm talkin about is something that aint gonna sound too much like it aint got no treble or bass at all like some of the amps I've been playin. I played on a Remedy at the shop here in Omaha, NE and the dude acted like he was afraid of it because he aint heard of them lol. Seemed like he didnt want me to crank it and see what it could do so I didnt really get to test it the way I wanted to.

Well that sucks... Its got plenty of umph and lots of treble and bass if u dial them in.. The high volume brings in more treble as well but the amp is by no means to bright like others, my Maz can be a bit bright, but nothing like the nasty rip your head off highs ie.. Mesa....Remedy is very usable and can crank.

To me the Remedy tone is FAT! Just clean it is awesome, but add an OCD or TS808 and enjoy. I even run both at the same time for a three channel type thing. I bought the OCD because it is made to mimic the plexi sound. This pedal works great with the Remedy.

Thanx Buckmeister, you think that Wampler Plexidrive would be just as good as the OCD?

I'm not familiar with the Wampler, but I just checked out their website and the Plexidrive sounds very similar to the OCD. Both are going for the cranked JTM-45 sound. Too close to call for me.

Takes pedals very well and has a great clean and crunchy tone. I set the high and normal at about 10 to 11 oclock and the bass and mid at 1 and the treble at about 11 and use my fuzz pedals and DLS for dirt and get stellar tones with the Remedy roll back your guitar volume for cleans. I use Strats and love the tone this amp gets with them. I can get great cleans and nice warm crunchy overdrive I have my strats all set up so that I can roll back my tone knob in the bridge position to warm up the bridge pickup.
