After years of lusting I finally took the plunge. Kept this one in the Z-forum family, 3rd forum member to own it (leftylang/zdogma). Made the stateside return trip after some time with our fine friends north of the border.
Will be paired up with a Weber Pre-Rola 1225. Hoping to find a Z 210 or 410 in the future...first time I plugged into a Z-28 it was paired with a Z 410 - and it was amazing.
Just something beautiful about a tweaked-out 6V6 amp...hmmm...
Enough typing, back to playing...

Congratulations. The Z-28 is a very cool amp and the tone controls are something special.

Sweeee-t. Think you are really gonna dig the Z-28 once you get a Z 210 cab to go with it .... my dream is still to have a 410 cab and a second 28 head to go with it .... ah, such sonic sensations ;D can't wait to hear some clips once you get goin' play on, eh! Joel

Good choice. I got a beauty S/H from Peach here in the UK. Like all Dr's stuff it never fails to deliver...unlike my fingers. Next thing is a Z-best cab to go with it. It won't stop there, you'll be looking/lusting at other Z's. To quote my wife 'why do you need three amps?'

Route 66 is getting more appealing every time I read Z forum comments.
