I've tried a Keeley compressor a few times, but I like my Tele tone better without it for some reason. That wasn't the case with the other Z's I've owned in the past.
Congrats on the new Remedy. It really is an amazing amp.

I have a Warehouse Speaker Company 'Green Beret' (greenback clone) showing up in a few days. MUCH cheaper than Celestion greenbacks. I do have a English Greenback. I'll compare the two and report back. The Warehouse is MUCH cheaper.
But it will be a little difficult to compare them, the Greenback is in an open back, the Warehouse will be put in a closed back.

I'm with you shorty, I just get a bit more power with the compressor through the Remedy, where it made all the difference in the world through the Stingray. Is anyone else finding a Comp useful through the Remedy?

Hey John...I haven't heard of Green Beret, but that would be awesome to hear how they sound, thanks!

Congrats on buying the Remedy - it's a tone monster! As you say, rich, fantastic tone with a multitude of guitars, pickups, etc, very little tweaking.
I actually find, now that the speakers on my Z Best are worked in pretty well (Greenback/G12H-30), I do no tweaking whatsoever. I have the B-M-T at noon, the volumes at 2 o'clock and noon, all the time, and simply plug in and play, and get stellar, stellar tone, always.
Regarding a compressor, ever since I bought the Remedy it's been all guitar>cord>amp for me, no pedals whatsoever (though I'm all Gibson/humbuckers, not a lot of twang/country).
Have fun!
