I have heard that the Ghia & Z28 together is a great match? I will find out soon enough when I receive my CG.

I've used my Ghia together with my Rt 66. I had to attenuate the 66 even though it was the "clean" one. Really a nice, big sound. When I play an "important" show (you know, like, any gig except a bar , I like to take two amps, mostly in case one craps out for some reason. The only negative is the load-in/load-out.

Well....now from experience I can say that the Ghia & Z28 together is as good as it gets so far for me. The Ghia & Route 66 is a very close 2nd.

I have heard that the Ghia & Z28 together is a great match? I will find out soon enough when I receive my CG. Actually .... I cannot think of a better setup for the studio, live work, or huge venue live work as they mic everything. Z-28 for cleans .... Carmen Ghia for crunch and 70s-80s rock tones .... Then back to the Z-28 for pedals with anything up to a Boss Metal Zone sort of pedal for shredding. Simple, reliable, easy to transport, and for the life of me I cannot think of a better two amp rig. The 6545 is sort of two great amps in one but frankly, the Ghia is the best sounding amp I have ever played.
