Yeah, the blonde ghia will look mighty sharp sitting next to my Maz SR NR/Z-best! Thing is who gets played the most now?
Also, here's a big "hat's off" to Dr.Z!!! With all he's been through, I had no expectations of seeing this Ghia until like July or August. But was shocked when I was called and told it was in.
Dr.Z my hat is off to you sir!

Hey thanks Myles!!! Yeah, I really love it! I posted a pic in the Gallery section. It's really opened up new doors for me. On Saturday I'm going to audition for a blues band with her.

Ghia as a blues amp? Yes! I mentioned in another thread that the Ghia reminds me very much of an updated, modern Teed Deluxe in feel and sound. Blues you can use!

Sweet lookin' Ghia johnnyl!
It's so much fun to read/hear about people experiencing these amps for the first time. I've had mine for 10 years now, and it still makes me happy every time I play through it. It defines *my* sound. A good number of other amps have come and gone in the mean time, but the Ghia is here to stay.

Well, after my first test run last night I have to say... HOLY SHIZNIT! What a great amp. I've never heard such a beautiful, rich, clean tone from an amp and I've had plenty... It works so well with all my pedals too. After enjoying the lush cleans for a few minutes I goosed it with my Blue Collar OD and it just howled. This is just what I've been searching for. Nice job Doc!

Now I know you and I are coming from a pretty similar place in our musical tastes Johnny, so now you've got me thinkin' bout a ghia. Not that I haven't before but....hmmm. Glad you're enjoying it. My parents are going back to the States for a vacation in a few months....maybe I can get them to pick me one up and bring it home on the plane....save me some shipping and tax if they can get away with it. Hmmmm!!!! Maybe they could take my flight case full of clothes and put the amp in it on the way back. Um, don't mind me, I'm typing and thinking out loud... Enjoy that Ghia.

A Ghia is small enough to fit in a suitcase but big enough to make you smile when you hear it.

Use the combo as a suitcase... toss clothes and tooth brushes in the back! Will probably fall out as things shift in flight! ;-)
