Hi again!
My JAZ finally arrived yesterday! However...I m on duty at a hospital out of town... This means my wait is prolonged till this Friday... The good thing is though that on Saturday we start gigging again so it will be nice trying the JAZ both home and at full throttle (probably) The Brake Lite will be super useful!
Stay tuned folks! Vids are coming up!

check the connections where the reverb plugs into the amp. Sometimes they work loose in shipping

after i disconnected the footswitch entirely the buzz disappeared... tomorrow i ll resolder it... what an amazing amp! i mean what the heck is going on here... one word? punchy! more words? responsive with tight tight bass that thumps your chest sweet treble and nice EQ too ,touch sensitive? get outta here! this thing is unreal! Argytar
ps...what do i do with the switch? does it pickup too much hum or should i just strengthen the connections...?? the gig is tomorrow so i ll do my best

yep ,emailed Brent and he was more than helpful!
I resoldered and then the reverb didn t work ..then i switched the plugs and now i have noise free operation but the switch labels are oposite! i step on vib for reverb! in my book ,not a problem!
i gigged the amp yesterday and was so amazed! it had such a sweet present in the mix! it s all in the mids! the amp is so sweet and punchy and incredibly touch sensitive! i mean big time! if you play with dynamics you need just your guitar your volume pot and a cable!! i was thrilled with the way the volume pot acted like a knob of the amp... you turn down and still retain sweet clarity and tone to the bone!
i have some vids, will post soon

Glad to hear everything is working for you now. My Jaz was one of the early ones and also needed some reverb attention but all is well now. Amazing tone is the only thing coming out of it now.

So the Trem and Verb work well now though, just reversed on the foot switch? I like the Reverb on this amp, at first I thought it was to intense and washed out/surfy sounding. I can tell that is what he was going for now and actually wouldn't want it any less intense, I usually keep mine between 9 and 11 o'clock if I have it on. Mine is #14 but it sounds as though your reverb problem was different than mine.

Number 1 ! Wow!! You know i was going for the EZG 50 but when I read your site and saw your playing at Z fest I was sold to buy this amp (JAZ)! I wanted an amp that made THAT sound with a strat ! (I know of course that it s also in the hands of the player but still..) So thanks ;D Update... I revised the soldering on the pedal yesterday and the problem is totally fixed!! No reverb noise !! there s only sweet tone to be had now!! thank you guys all
