My kids came over for a BBQ last night. My daughter's boyfriend is a guitarist, and brought his Strat (mine all have 10's, he likes 8's) so we could jam a little. Last time I put him through the Maz Jr, and I don't think it quite satisfied his gain lust. So this time I put him through the Remedy, half power, dimed everything and ran the Airbrake down to where the windows stopped rattling. We didn't really play all that long - they had to get their kids to bed and get up this morning to work. But when we wrapped it up he looked at me with this sheepish grin and said, "Man that amp ROCKS!" Well yeah..!!! He started slobbering all over about it - I think he'll be in the market for one very soon. Gotta say, it did sound pretty doggone good, even with 8's.

Funny... my ex-wife's folks were both pro musicians. Made it all through their lives, mortgages and all, playing music. He was a bass player, she played keys and sang. Pretty eccentric couple, and it WAS really cool that my girlfriend's folks were musicians. Isn't it strange how life repeats?

Well a minor update on my assumption posted in the subject. I happened to see the family again this past weekend, and he revealed that not only did he love the Remedy, he has already started scheming how to acquire one on a student's budget. I told him, don't be looking at mine!

I told him, don't be looking at mine! I put mine in my son's room whilst he was home for spring break. He has loved it from day 1 and from day 1 I said it was never going to college with him ;D.

My youngest son, who's a senior in H.S., has been given permission to use mine for his senior class assembly. He knows it's like a library around here...........the amp comes back home. He is WELL AWARE of what happens if books are returned late................

Yea Skeets, I gotta tell you, I'm really in love with mine. I've never had an amp that is so responsive, or that overdrives as beautifully. Just pure drive, and pure tone! You'll never look back. Gotta tell ya Taswegian, your Police clips help spread the gospel of "Z" quite a bit as well...
