Hey,
I gather that many are digging the tone, straight in.......but I'm sure SOME of you are still running pedals.
Whatcha got, and whatcha dig with the Rem?!?!?
I've got one coming tomorrow.
I expect the Z Vex Box of Rock will bond nicely with it (as it does with the 66), and I'm hoping it will take fuzzes well.
Other suggestions?

My son has run just about everything we have thru the Remedy, Cornish stuff, many DAM fuzzes, Keeley TS, Area 51 wah, vintage flangers, phasers, Draconis, Skreddy Mayo, Ultra Vibe, Echoczar, SHOD and the list goes on. It even likes those "amp" pedals like the DLS and SFT from Catlinbread. Weirdly we didn't like the Skreddy Mayo. Also, the Kingsley Jouster didn't sound so great but haven't spent enough time trying to dial it in. And for bedroom use................... Full 40 - Attenuator-Grosh. "I don't need no stinkin' pedals"

I love being pedal-free right now, guitar>cord>amp is such a fantastic thing, pedals seem like a pain.
I am curious about the Keeley Fuzz Head for a lead boost, though... seems like it would gel nicely with a Remedy?

My parents are in the States at the moment so the house is empty and they live out in the bush above the beach, so I took all my gear down yesterday and had a good ole' nasty ear bleeding fool around. I must say, the Route 66 and Remedy together in stereo cranked up is stadium rock god heaven!! ;D I tried various pedals with the Rem, the one that really suprised me was the Tonefactor Hellbilly. With the Rem being pushed fairly hard the hellbilly just sent it into germanium screamdom!!! It was a heck of a rockin' lead tone. Killer fuzz tone. I also got a great lead tone out of my Wampler Superplextortion by turning the 3 way gain switch to the lowest setting, maxing the volume and gain about 1-2 oclock and tones to taste. This ended up sounding very much like a volume boost with a hair more gain and compression. The Megalodon was great also but not quite as special as it is with the 66.

Surprisingly, I didn't dig the Box of Rock so much (It was KILLER with the 66).

For OD, I've got a Fulltone Fat Boost 2 and an Xotic AC+ on my board right now. I've also got an OCD in reserve. All three sound great with the Remedy. As for other pedals, just a wah, tuner, and MXR Carbon Copy.

I think I would need "a moment to myself" in that situation. I love my Remedy and next Z will be a '66 unless Doc builds me a Z wreck! I had fine results at a gig last night with the FET Dream. Very smooth and sustainy; quite sensitive to guitar volume adjustments.

I love the Divided by 13 "Blockparty" It works really well with this amp. I also use a nine volt nirvana bronto boost which just kills

Bought 6strang's Remedy a week ago, I'm done, found it. Catalinbread's Dirty Little Secret is great with this amp as is their Super Chili Boost. I can get great old school and modern tones when using the DLS and a Remedy and at really low volumes too ; )
I also would like to recommend this new band from Canada like ZZ you'll like them:

Just received a Fulltone 70 pedal. It's definitely the fuzz I've been looking for and sounds really great with the Rem.

I have a ETE Moon Boost, which I like, but I don't get that much of a volume boost when I'm at higher volume settings. I typically run it on half power with my high volume at about 1 o'clock and the normal volume at about 10 o'clock. Would the Catalinbread Super Chili Picasso noticeably boost the volume at these levels? I really like those settings for my rhythm tones, but when I go into a solo I find it hard to be prominent in the mix. I'm also considering the MI Audio Boost N' Buff, but not ready to pull the trigger if all clean boosts will behave the same way at high volumes. Any thoughts? Maybe I should just tell the band to be quiet when I'm playing my leads.

If you have no more headroom you don't really boost into anything just more gain. If your playing so loud that you can't boost into a solo you might be playing to loud. I do jams with two 5watters into a 4x12 and with bass and drums being respectfull it's loud enough to ring your ears.
I would like to have a Remedy for gigs.

If you have no more headroom you don't really boost into anything just more gain. I assumed that this was the case, because I can indeed get a volume boost at lower volume settings on the amp. I was just hoping that I could simply boost the volume of the settings that I prefer. Also, yes I do play loud, but who doesn't love playing loud? I usually face my amp towards the side stage. This way I don't blast the front row's ears, but I still get the tone that I like through the mains and the monitors. I believe Dan Auerbach from The Black Keys operates in this sort of fashion. Often he is running one or more Marshall 1959 Super Leads with no attenuator in sight. So my options are: Set the volume lower on my amp Play in full power mode for more headroom Set my guitar volume low and turn up for leads Tell my band to be more dynamic Can't I just get a pedal to solve my problems?

The Catalinbread Super Chili is a great boost it can add up to 30 db's of boost and even when turned all the way down boosts the signal via it's buffer. If you are looking for a clean boost that one is hard to beat. It also has a fat switch ala fender amps that I love. I also have played the way you described with the amp facing side stage. When we do festivals we do that and mike the amp for the crowd through the mains, works well. The SCP can be had for like 99.00 used if you can spare it you should try it.
