I was just playing my 66 when I started to hear a lot of crackle and spitting. I looked in the back of the amp and noticed ef86 tube was a little crooked. I touched it to move it over and the amp gave out a pop... then it was dead. Fuse was blown, so I replaced the fuse, a new ef86, a new gz34 and its still blowing fuses. Any ideas? It sure sounded good before it went to heaven ;-)

You should check this with Doc - ASAP.
Check the plate-resistors, grid-resistors - any resistor thats connected to the power-tubes to see if their values match up. Try to change the PI-tube as well Do you have a set od spare power-tubes?
Ask Doc first to get sugestions!

I have a bunch of spare power tubes... and all the other tubes as well. I think a tech is in order. I think the ef86 (NOS) went bad and took out something in the process.

Just a suggestion, but you may want to have it looked at before turning it on again...
