DC here! I have put 8 new soundclips on my website. Just to illustrate the difference between the Dz-Z 2x10" cab and a hornloaded cab equipped with an EVM12L 12" speaker. Caveat: The horn-cab was not designed with this pseaker in mind. drzamplifiers.proboards41.com/index.cgi?board=soundfiles&action=display&thread=1194185440Direct link is here: mbsb.psy.umu.se/clips/clips.htmlI also use both my guitars a Les Paul (goldtop) with Seymour Duncan P90 stacks and the Warmoth Telecaster with Seymour Duncan vintage stacks. Both guitars were played with the bridge pickup and volume and tone controls dimed. The P90 stack on the "Lester" was switched into "Serial Humbucking" position. (standard) Cheers: Dixiechicken!

Hey DC...thanks for all of that work! I downloaded all of the clips where you plugged straight-in.
Very articulate with both Guitars....love those tones! Makes me want to rush out and get another 66 soon.
That new Z-Cab is really nice isn't it?
For what it's worth, I NEVER download any samples of ANY amplifers using ANY pedals.... While it's interesting to some people, I like hearing you plugged straight in....very nice and thanks for the time you put forth..... I don't mind and occasional Attenuator or Tube-Tape-Echo....but that's it.
Had a couple of Rt.66's in the past and regret letting them go. My kid never connected with them years ago, but think he might now....especially since he plays a Les Paul a lot.
Great work and Thank you. Mark

Yes that's perhaps one of the hallmarks with the Route - to me anyway. Very articulate even with lots of crunch going on - in fact the Route66 seems to retain this quality even with OD-pedals.
It's easy to work the volume on th guitar to position yourself in mix of the band while playing. Glad you enjoyed the clips!
Cheers: Dixiechicken!

DC - really appreciate all of your clips.
I've wanted a Rte 66 for a while, but headed in my current direction. I think I've got to settle that problem.

Yes that's a problem you absolutely must solve. ;D You know what they say about temptation = only way to deal with it is to give in to it. Cheers: Dixiechicken!
