I got an email from Brent today that: The 66 is now available to order in the 230v format Great news hopefully - since I put in my order at the end of June for the estimated July-batch delivery - things are maybe moving in the "right direction". ;D Cheers: Dixiechicken

Mighty kind of you sir, to say so. This warms my "Hungry Heart". ;D ( the literary references are literally overflowing here on this board ) I hesitate ( not much ) to say something about "Big ""Boss"" Man", lest I overdo with two references in one. Cheers: Dixiechicken

Haha "leftylang" thanks for the encouragement. I believe I will - I'm actually looking forward with a great deal anticipation. This may be overly optimistic on my part - but I honestly feel I've done my homework pretty good - for once. But I view as a start of a long lovingly relationship. ;D Friends and band mates have already started to, not really unkindly, rile me about this acquisition. I let them! ;D Cheers: Dixiechicken

Update! For those of you who are waiting on translation read the orange line carfully. It says it was sent/delivered from the "sending-country" - where else could i be sent from? We will piously assume the package have by now left Norway and is on it's merry way to Sweden. Cheers: Dixiechicken

I cannot but tell you all about the latest development. I emailed customer services at the Norwegian Postal services to ask about the delay - at the Oslo post terminal. I kindly got this reply: First line - the parcel was sent from Norway to Sweden yesterday Yellow line - the sender have given the wrong sending-type/info when delivering the parcel to the post office. Orange line - it's possible that the parcel will be returned to sender when it gets to Sweden. I will not bother to comment on this - although I could. (sic) But Please Please Doc/Mike Z and Brent IF you se this.( I mean no disrespect towards the Norwegian dealer, but ... ) I would much rather deal directly with you - instead of going through a dealer and other middle-channels. I'm willing the pay premiun for assuring fast and safe delivery direct from you to me. Considering the total costs for your products the shipping costs is relatively minor. ( and your products are still very fairly priced compared to many other makers ). I was in fact for the longest time considering an Sidewinder combo from Mojave Ampworks - due in large part for the easy way of ordering direct. Well I shall see if I can somehow intervene in this postal bureacracy - and get the amp delivered - despite the fact that the parcel was somehow wrongly labeled and classified. I don't get my hopes up exactly - federal instituions like this - somtimes acts like last outposts of Stalinism. Cheers: Dixiechicken

If its anything like the US postal service, accept my sympathys now.... USPS lost a double neck lapsteel that I sent 2 years ago....I still have not the lapsteel back nor the insurance money I hope that you make out better than that. It is possible that they are looking right at it and do not see it... +1 for the ultimate test of "shaolin patience grasshopper"

Well it seems I'm obliged to eat my words - seldom have I been more ready to do so. ;D About half an hour ago ( as I type this ) a woman called me up - from the foreign Post Office Terminal in Örebro-Sweden. My two parcels are actually in Sweden now - lo and behold. She wants my my social security number for the the toll-import declaration papers. By now I feel quite ready to succumb to any indecent proposal - from any gender. So I was happy to oblige. This extremely beautiful service minded sexy woman told me - the packages will go by car/bus/lorry from Örebro to Umeå on Sunday night. They will arrive in Umeå at Monday afternoon - with a bit of luck they can get everything out to my address at Tuesday. Cheers: Dixiechicken PS I know nothing of the sort - I'm just fantasizing. ;DDS.
