I didn't want to bug the doc with something this simple...
I'm thinking of putting a new can capacitor on my new (to me) 1997 Route 66, it appears to be opening just a bit on the edge. What is the recommended value for this cap?
Or should I just leave it, I think it sounds fine, and I don't really notice an excessive amount of ghosting (more than the Z28, but it doesn't bother me)
It doesn't appear to have any internal filter caps on the board, am I correct?

I think you should try to bug the good Doc with this question. I'm shure he would be willing the explain. ( direct from the horses mouth - etc etc. )Cheers: Dixiechicken

Yeah good call, ..... it's probably still plenty good unless the thing has sat mostly unplayed for the last 10 years, which is highly unlikely! You would likely hear some ac humm, and or be getting a mushier responce than normal if it was gettin bad.
