If anyone needs more sparkle from the 66...the SHO is the pedal to get. Great clean and dirty tones

Agreed. I sold my Super Duper, but I ended up keeping a SHO clone that someone built for me. It is a good "sparkle" changeup to the base Rt66 tone. When the amp is set clean, the SHO helps add a little sustain and zing to single note lines.....rhythm playing with open chords is a blast as well.

what is the SHO all about? Is it a boost pedal?

The SHO is my favorite boost pedal. I've used an SHO with my 66 for 5 years...The SHO matches up great with most Z amps I've found. Can't say enough about it.

what is the SHO all about? Is it a boost pedal? The SHO is a clean boost. You can use it just to add some sparkle to your tone and/or run it to boost your clean signal to your amp. It works well both ways, you do seem to get enhanced detail of your guitar tone when you kick it on. I tend to use it more for just a very small bit of boost, but it is capable of about a 30 db increase.
