I am thinking of putting together a portabe rig with my Route 66 that can be cranked. It would be an open backed 2x12 cab loaded with Celestion Heritage G12Ms or regular reissue G12Ms. Has anyone tried the new Celestion G12M greenback with the Route 66??
One other option is to pair a Greenback G12M or Heritage G12M with a well broken in G12H30 to get more low end. Any experiences with this pairing?

No experience with the G12m but I do have a custom made heritage greenback in my 1-12 and there is a significant volume difference compared to my Z best. So much so that the last few gigs I have struggled a little with headroom and thought my valves might be going but I plugged everything in today and all seems fine. The Z Best ROARED as it usually does, so the speaker cab is doing the job I purchased it for. Also you might think they are a little "dull" in the top end, you definitely will loose some of that sparkle. Paired with the G12H would be a cool combo I would think although two M's would be less efficient if you were worried about volume. But I would imagine either combination would be very "Beano"
