Anybody thrown a vintage muff or any kind of fuzz through this amp yet. Yhe low end and the high clean head room leave me thinking this amp might respond really dynamically with some fuzz.......

My Pedalworx Octabooty likes the EZG-50. I will have to try the Big Muff on it soon and get back to you...

Ran a fulltone 70s through my EZG. Great tones. I need to get a hold of a germ. Fuzz.

Octabooty is awesome. It is the loudest pedal I have ever owned. I mean, it can blow up your amp if you are not careful. So far, everything is good with the EZG-50. The muff, the Octabooty and even a Mid-Fi Electronics glitch computer all sound good. Although I will mention that my Fulltone OCD sounded pretty boxy with the EZG, so I changed the settings on the Fulltone making it a tad brighter and lowering the gain but raising the volume- much better results.
Enjoy the EZG!

One more update- My 2-3 year old Big Muff kinda sucks. Not just with the EZG-50, but in general. I have no use for it anymore.
However, my new Z.Vex Fuzz Factory LOVES the EZG!!! It is chewy, raw and powerful through the EZG. I can get J.Mascis sounds, Steven Drozd sounds, Jack White sounds, etc. If you have the means, I highly recommend it.

yeah i scooped up a zves astotron and it really sounded good,....i have an old russian big muff from the early 90's and its ok,...but by far the coolest fuzz through the ezg is from a lil unknown guy here in austin named justin from 3xfx,...i had him build me a prototype and then he worked with me for a few weeks changing cap values and such to get the tone I needed,...its called the buzzbomb and it has a really great sound with a really nice filter sweep controlled by a photon cell he put in it for me so I can use the sweep effect in a wa type fashion....really great sounding box

It simply rocks with my rare Skreddy Mayo. Hard to imagine the extra amount of detail and clarity that a great amp will allow a fuzz pedal to bring to the table!
