HELLO BOYS AND GIRLS!!! Im new here.....I just jumped aboard the DR Z train from the mesa side of things and am pretty sure Ill never look back. I picked up my 4x10 cab about an hour ago and now I have to wait till wed. to get my EZG-50 with custom wood valence!!!!!! I have never played through Z and Im not one to buy something before i play through it, but from the demos the reviews and such i think the clean channel is going to be amazing for my purposes. Ive even heard that this thing can get a lil grit to it......and its pedal friendly...anyhow just wanted to say hello to everyone ...this seems like a good bunch around here!!

It might take a bit to figure out your ideal tone with the amp...but it is worth it! She can get loud...but does sound sweet at low volumes too. It sounds great into 410, 112 and Zbest cabs. Congrats on the purchase, and welcome to da club!

Your gonna love it. I didnt fall in love w/ it at first but after a few days i couldnt stop playing.
The cool thing is it can do the bright fender thing and a whole lot more. Just play w/ the mids and treble.

mmmm mids=tone People are so quick to scoop the mids out. I think it has to do with the fact the guitar is a midrange instrument and most amps cannot accurately reproduce the true tones of the guit in that range so they get swept out and replaces with a mix of brittle highs and flabby lows. Sounds like th DR has nailed the EQ on this one!!! Thanks for the tip hendrixbeano!!

It was my EZG-50. Just met up with Danny to do the deed. Didn't want to let go of it, but it wasn't getting enough playing time. Danny's a great guy, and I'm sure he'll be a great asset to the forum. Hope you guys give him a warm welcome.
