Hey guys, I have a Maz. 18 Jr. (best amp i've ever played). Lately, I have been lurking in Z-28/Route 66 territory. I am probably gonna pull the trigger on one of these soon. I have heard many say that this amp is Marshally in character. The Box of Rock was designed with a Marshall amp in mind, so I guess what I am asking is how does this pedal sound with the Route 66? Anybody here using this combo, and if so with what type of guitar and pickups?
P.S. Any sound clips :-)

I heard the clips as well. I'm very interested in the pedal.

The pedal can do the Marshall dimed sound, but you can back off the the distortion and get more into a pushed blues sound. Since it has the SHO boost on the left side, its really 2 pedals in one. You can use either side or both at the same time. For ZVEX's first real distortion pedal I think it really good. I got mine in just the silver model rather than pay the $100 more for the hand painted one.

I love it with the gain up from 12-3 oclock, not maxed. very very good stacked with fuzzes or other OD pedals. Faves include Ge fuzzes running at volume 3/4 and full up all the way into the BOR with less gain dialed in. Holy jesus you can get nice tones with these two pedals. Works well with more agressive fuzzes too like the fuzz factory and an EH Double muff I had lying around. Gets a little congested with ODs, but a Fulldrive II in compcut mode into the BOR is also very nice. The Rt 66 doesnt need much effects, but a transparent one such as the BOR works great.
