My RT 66 is going thru fuses at a rate of about 1 every week? ? I am wondering if its something in my home's electricity flow??? In April, when I plugged in my maz senior new from Z land, it blew a fuse in about 2 minutes. I have never had a amps fuse blow anywhere else than my home........amps all sound great? Anyone know anything about this?

Thats weird james! Take your Volt meter if youve got one and set it for A/C range, and maybe take a look see, what the wall voltage is. Have you had any other work done (electricaly) in the house? They sell at the hardware stores a little plug in dealy that checks hot / neutral, etc. But if no work was done, and youve never had a problem before, .... that is strange. The odds of having TWO amps with the same issue would be almost unthinkable. You could be simply experiencing some kind of surge or brown out from time to time, from the city supply, that corresponds with the moment you choose to play?? I dont know which might do that, maybe either, surge or brown down. Good luck!

Anyone know anything about this? James - Do you know anyone that has a Monster or Furman power conditioner? This would be a good chance to try one to see if your problem is coming from your outlets. I never plug any of my equipment into a wall socket before my Furman Power Factor Pro. These conditioners will absolutely protect your equipment from ANY electrical problems. And we're not even talking about the improvement to the sound of your gear. Just a thought. Don
