A redhead 2-10 combo followed me home the other day! I looked for the answer around here, but couldn't find this: Extension cab jack- Is this 8 ohms? Can you have both the combo speakers and the extension cab plugged in at the same time? Sorry, I haven't found the answer on my own!

Congrat's the red head following you home. I've heard that you can safely run 2 8 ohm cabs from the each jack. Which made me think that it's OK to parallel 2 8 ohms cabs from one jack but I don't know that answer. May Tony does.

Thanks, Drew. It's tough to get a redhead (or blonde or brunette!) to follow me home! I'll treat her well!
I'm surprised the info isn't on the Z website.

Congrats on the amp. Doc himself posted a while back in the Galaxie section saying (to paraphrase) yes, you can have an 8 ohm on the regular speaker line-out and using the extension lineout have an 8 ohm extension at the same time. I do not recall all the tech specs, but he says it is built to do it. So go ahead, hook-em up and crank it up. cheers always, eh Joel edit: 8 ohm speaker from regular speaker extension and a separate 8 ohm speaker from the extension
