I got to open the Remedy up today at an outdoor gig. Full power and only 1 click on the Brake Lite. What a treat. I had the amp set fairly clean since the repertoire today did not have a ton of lead guitar work. Oh man, it sounded good on everything: 60s pop, Motown, a little country. If you have a Remedy and haven't had a chance to really crank it, find a way. My only regret is now I have to turn it back down. I think I may bring it to a blues gig this week instead of my MAZ 18. I'll have to pad the output down, but I think it could be a blast. (If we had more room to set up, I'd run both amps.)

The last time I played outdoors, it was the Remedy and the Z-Best, and not one other thing. It was utterly glorious.

Today's gig was on the short side (90 minutes) and was held on a blocked-off street that needed to reopen quickly once we finished, so I chose not to go with the big guy cab. But I'm with you: Remedy + Z Best = Tone Heaven!

Mike - If your gigging in the nassau, queens, nyc area, shoot me a p.m. I'd like to hear that Remedy in action. If I can move some gear that would probably be my next purchase.
Thanks, Dan

Thanks, Dan Will do, Dan. We're usually playing in lower Westchester, so we're sort of within reach. Some chatter about about a Manhattan gig, but nothing definite. Did end up using the Remedy last night for a blues gig. It was great fun.

Thanks Mike- I'm very familiar heading over the Throgs Neck. Me and the Mrs. have friends who live north so we always meet somewhere in between and its usually in lower Westchester.
