Ok... My impatience has gotten the best of me... I decided to just go with the Remedy. Such a great company and I've been super pleased with everything from them. I'm sure the Remedy won't disappoint. ;D Now I just have to wait for the amp! AHHHHHHHHHH

I've been using the Remedy for my gigs for a while now and am loving what it does to inspire me during the gigs. When you can put it on full power and allow it to breathe with a nice cabinet it is aural nirvana. It makes my teles and Les Pauls sing more than I knew they could. You will dig it. ...and the Red ones do sound better... to me anyways!

Awesome! I would go with red... But my cab is black and i want it to match. I'll be rockin it through a Splawn 4x12 cab. Their 4x12's are some of the best cabinets i've heard for live and recording. Too bad Z doesn't make a 4x12. It has 2 Eminance Man O Wars and 2 Eminance Gov'nor's. I think it will be perfect with the Remedy. I can't decide if i wanna run The remedy and maz jr. stereo though that cab or if i'm gonna use a radial headbone to switch between the two. Guess i'll just have to do a little experimenting. I'll be pushing it with a few boost pedals. AC, RC, and BB, TIM, and i have a RAT clone from JHS pedals that sounds amazing. I can't wait to hear the sweetness!!!
Josh Scott is a friend of mine... Check out his site if you get a chance. Great pedals and great prices. If you want anything custom he's your man. He'll build you anything you can think of.

Yea you made the right choice the Remedy is going to blow your mind. It is super touch responsive and it has a 3D like vibe too it. It has a warmth to it as well... The best amp I have bought in years.....Congrats.

I think you're going to love it. A great complement to the MAZ Jr, which I believe you have already.
I've got an outdoor gig in a couple weeks, and the Remedy is going out on the town. (A side benefit: if it's cold outside -- I'm in NYC area -- I can warm my hands over the vent on the R.)
Look forward to hearing from you when you get it and experience it.

I hope you end up loving the Remedy. The Doc makes a great amp but I have yet to find anyone who does the Marshall thing better than Bob Reinhardt. The MI-6 is one of the best amps I have ever used and they now come standard with power scaling. Bob is also a class act. Both are great choices I'm sure.

I'm sure i'll end up with a reinhardt one of these days... But for now I love the remedy. I can really dial in "MY" tone. And it sounds great alongside my Maz. I'll probably end up getting the MI-6 combo. Seems like it would be a great small venue amp with the power scaling and all.

If you are considering a Reinhardt down the road, I would consider the "Storm" or "V-50" with Power Scaling. Those are the ones I am looking at for a Marshall type sound with the ability to keep the same tones at both bedroom volumes and at full volume for large shows. I hear nothing but good things about those amps. Although I want a Remedy too.

I had a Remedy and sold it like a fool. However, I am planning on getting a MI-6 or Reinhardt 18 this week. We'll see how they compare...

Please let us know what you think. I'd really be interested to hear what you think since you've had the Remedy also.

I got the Reinhardt MI-6 last night. It's awesome. It's 18 watts with 6V6 power tubes. It's got more overdrive on tap than the Remedy and overall I'd say the MI-6 is more Marshally. I also played the regular Reinhardt 18 while I was there. It had a more traditional 18 watt feel and sounded more jangly than the MI-6. The MI-6 was rounder and fatter. It doesn't have the power scaling option though like the newer Reinhardt amps. It looks like this: I will try to make a youtube video of it soon. I really like it so far.

It kills at higher volumes. Mine doesn't have the power scaling but I wish it did as it would be more useful at home.

A Storm 33 with power scaling will be my next amp acquisition if all goes well with my Sultan that should be delivered in Jan/Feb 2010. Ed. Note: That does not include a Monza head in January ;DKeith

Sorry if the Remedy v. MI-6 is now old news, but I'm currently debating between the two, though leaning (heavily) towards the Remedy. Trigger will be pulled in several days. Any more input on this one? Thanks!

I do not play that much but when my son comes home from college he has the Remedy and Z-Best in his room to play. The tones I hear are ungodly. I sit in my Master Suite/bedroom and weep when He is home from school. Remedy for sure..............

Tough choice here - I have the Reinhardt 18 & SHG, but have been seriously thinking of adding the MI-6 as well. Fantastic amps - but I love my RAY too.. And I'd like to have a Remedy for the option of having both...More, always - more... Best of luck, let us know what you get... tom

Just to update: Found a great deal on a Reinhardt MI-6 & couldn't say no. Love it so far though, playing through a 2x12 with Hellatone 30s. Couldn't be happier. I bet I would have enjoyed the Remedy, but the opportunity for the MI-6 came first.

Gotta go with the Remedy. The MI-6 is great but considering they both use 6V6 tubes and the Remedy has a 1/2 power switch, that pretty much seals the deal. The Remedy is like having two amps in one - 20 watts for small/medium size gigs and 40 watts to knock their sock's block off!
