The band - The Sexy Accident. The album - Kinda Like Fireworks (out May 9th) Recorded at Electrical Audio, Chicago. The album was tracked live - as a band. 100% of the songs feature my Dr. Z RxES, 100% of the time. I also used a Dual Showman as an occasional boost, but only sparingly. We just released two songs on www.myspace.com/sexyaccidentEnjoy! And please tell me what you think. Jesse

Karma for recording the whole thang with the RX ES!! Well, it's my sound! At least on this album. But probably for a long time to come. When I played it at Mass St., it was just incredibly obvious that it's the amp I've been looking for for years. I've always been a minimal chord-voicing kinda guy. The compression and balance of the RxES make it possible to do really interesting things with one or two note chords without having volume-shift problems. Meaning, I can go from a two-note chord to a full on open chord and have them sit very comfortably side by side. A lot of the voicings I use on this album simply wouldn't work with a different amp. Plus the palm muting stuff (which you can't really hear on these songs) just kicks with the Rx's percussive attack and ample bass. Jesse

Jesse, nice stuff!!! Always love the Sexy Accident!!! Yeah I used my RXES 100% of the time on the guitar tracks for the worship CD Chuck and I are doing. Plus, as you heard, RXES worked well for Stone in Love too!!! :-)
BTW, this is Chris Sieggen if you hadn't figured it out!! :-)

Wow, that all sounds excellent! Nice tunes too. But the guitar playing and the guitar tones are all very, very nice.

Cool stuff for sure, did my cover bands demo with my RxEs. Amp sounds good but I could have worked on my playing a little more, where more of a live band lol!

I saw that you had an RX, but I couldn't tell if it was an ES or the original. I'm trying to get a few people to caravan with me out to Lawrence for your next gig.
