Which pedals work so well with a Ghia that they are must have? Simply fill your thoughts into the chart below:
Wah - Boost - OD - Distortion - Fuzz - Chorus - Vibe - Phaser - Delay - Other -

A good boost is my #1... From there it's nice to have a good analog delay as well. I should say that the Ghia doesn't 'need' either of these persay, and I could be completely happy just plugging straight in every time... Those are just the two effects that have become really integrated in what I like to do with my sound...
Especially the boost though.... Boost for leads, boost for "more" out of the amp, boost to carry my guitar signal to the amp a bit stronger when rolling back my guitar volume control.
There are pics of the buildyourownclone.com tribooster I just built in the effects forum, and for me, that really is proving to be the last boost pedal I'll ever need. I've long been a fan of full-range germanium boost with the Ghia, and the MOSFET clean boost part of that pedal (Jack Orman's boost circuit) is also superb with the Ghia... The MOSFET/Orman circuit is the same one used in other boosts such as the Catalinbread Super Chile Picaso, as well as the Fulltone Fat Boost... VERY simple circuit, very outstanding results!

You really need nothing but if I had to have one overall pedal it would be a Zendrive.

An Xotic RC Booster. An Xotic RC Booster. An Xotic RC Booster. If I couldn't have that, I'd take an Xotic RC Booster. Other pedals that rock: Analogman Beano Boost, Analogman Juicer.

I've got a juicy beano. Oh wait, yes - Beano Boost and Orange Squeezer. Awesome. I'm liking my MI Audio Blues Pro, too. With HB pups this amp doesn't *need* that. Heck, I'm test-driving this nice old tweaked EHX Deluxe Electric Mistress.....I can't seem to find any desire to actually shut it off! why is there so much cool stuff out there, and so little time?

Terry -
That's a tweaked DEM, not a tweaked DMM? Man, my reading comprehension was retarded yesterday then...
I thought it was a DMM. my bad. So if it's a tweaked deluxe electric mistress, does that mean we can call it "deluxe electric juicy lucy"?!
[myles, please insert one of your many great high-res images of the finer gender here] ;D

yessir, a tweaked DEM....a nice wet bee (that scratch is making me) itch.
I'm so bad when I don't have my coffee in the morning. Java boost. I WANT MY COFFEEPOOFS.

I think a boost is a must. It just ands a fuller sound. The Zendrive is also a great choice. I was going to do the build your own thing, but found a great deal on a Luxury Drive and stopped there.

Hey Peach, Have you ever tried a treble booster with the Ghia, like a BSM RM rangemaster clone? It sounds amazing with the Stingray, I wonder how it would sound with the Ghia.

TRex Replica is great with Ghia

the beano boost (rangemaster clone from analog mike) is killer into a hopped up (wait, that's the guitar player...) heated up ghia, so I'd say it's a "go!" Tas, you're doomed

I love my dm-3 with the ghia! Beautiful sound. The digitech bad monkey works fine to my ears, but i haven't tried any boutique boosters or anything. My delay with the zvex wah probe is great for a reggae sound.

When my Ghia arrives, I'm going to keep the setup as simple as the amp is. Probably a AC Boost with a reverb/delay pedal. Maybe another Zen... dunno.
