Well, I just had to say that.
Pulled out the ol' RX [original] this afternoon and had a go with an LP, a P-90 guitar, and a Strat. My poor ol' fingers are still throbbin'! But the sound of the RX thru 2 Greenbacks [appropriately moderated thru an AirBrake] was a breath of fresh air!
Tennis elbow has put a crimp in my basement blastin' [and everything else practically] for going on two months now and I just had to cut loose for a while. A little musical therapy, if you will. I recommend it to everyone!
Well, I have to let the frettin' hand rest for a day, I reckon, but then it'll be time for the Tele!!. And Dulexe Reverb notwithstanding, I have not heard a better amp for the Tele than my RX! Especially one with green tolex!!

I've not heard the original, but the ES I have sounds mighty fine with a Tele, that's for sure!

i plugged mine the other day in after not playing it for a couple months. a divided by 13 had me all gassed out. once the Rx warmed up the same feeling i always get with that amp came back...what a killer rig.
The one thing i wish the doc could do is retrofit the Rx with a half power switch like the /13 amps have. AIrbrakes are cool (vital) but you do loose something in the translation.
