Labor day weekend gig was the best tone in my LIFE. Remedy was on 20 watts w/ Break-lite @ one click before off. Lester was Killer w/'' Live at The Fillmore'' tone all over the place. ;D

(Still experimenting with mine at home and gigging with MAZ Jr.)

I gather you're holding to a reasonable sound pressure level with those vol settings. I was down multiple clicks on the BL today as I experimented with really pushing both volume controls. And I clicked over to full power for a bit when no one else was home ;D

Wow.... I've been gigging my Remedy with the Hi volume at 3 o'clock and the Normal volume at 11 o'clock, Airbrake on two clicks, full power into a Z-Best. Loud? Yeah, but it sure sounds nice...

I hear you bro I am loving the Remedy as well. ;D I have to agree it's the best amp I have had the pleasure to own. I hardly even play my Maz Jr now... I actually took my maz jr to rehearsal last week and was able to really hear the difference. The Remedy is just incredible. It is a tough act to follow. ;D Don't get me wrong I am not bashing on the Maz it is a great little amp. I still play it at home quite a bit. When I play live it's a no brainer The Remedy However the Remedy is just more in the line of what I am into tone wise and feeling wise. The touch response and sensitivity that the Remedy has is just incredible. The tone is stellar to say the least.... The best amp purchase I have made in years. Thanks Doc... Another satisfied customer....

If you use the Air Brake, try it with full power.

If you use the Air Brake, try it with full power. +1 - every time I play it I end up there. Full power, two clicks on the Airbrake, and I'm THERE.

Ha, me too! 1/2 power, both volumes dimed. No airbrake. Dimed as in cranked all the way up (i.e., to 10 on a control with numeric labels -- or 11 if you're Nigel Tufnel) or dimed as in around the 10:00 o'clock position? Looks like the latter in your photo. Just curious. Good tone either way with a Remedy!

I'm thinkin' "dimed" means "floored" or "all the way up". I pretty much used the settings above last sunday, full power. Sweet! ;D

Looks like 10:00 on his Remedy to me. To me it's floored or all-the-way-up.

Agreed. I think most of us interpret "dimed" to mean the control is set to its max, as in 10 on a 1-10 scale. If we stick with the clock position, then wouldn't "nickeled" be more than "dimed?"

Don't be fooled by the pic, dimed means all the way up! And yes, both amps are from Willcutt's (so is the Les Paul). Lately I like both volumes at 1 oclock though.
