I've been running my Remedy in a A/B rig with my 74 Super Reverb for cleans. The Remedy on Half power with volumes a little over half matches up great volume-wise with the Super running clean at 3 or 4. Problem is, I like the tone of the Remedy better on full power, it just seems punchier and thicker. Half power sounds a little thinner and brighter, not quite as smooth. I tend to hear it like I hear the difference between old 50 watt and 100 watt Plexis if that makes sense. So my question for those of you running the Remedy with a Airbrake, which do you prefer, half power unattenuated or full power with the Airbrake cut back a click or two?

Not sure if I'm doing it for the same reasons you state, but every time I've taken out the Remedy, I try to start on half power, and within minutes I've switched it to full power and braked it a bit. That gives me more latitude in terms of where I set the volume controls for the tones I'm seeking. Last weekend I was on full power with the Airbrake on 2 clicks for most of the night.

I agree. I try to start out at half power as well but within minutes I go to full power. Two clicks on the brake lite is also a good setting I use mine like that too. In the full setting......It just seems to have way more headroom. Now If I am at home or in a very small setting I will go to half power.

I dunno, but at full power it seems to percolate or breath more.
