Congrats on your new amp and cab.Separate head and cab are the way to go.That is one LOUD rig you've got ;D.You are going to need an Air Brake to save your hearing.

Hey PRDZ, Welcome to the forum. Congrats on your RXES and Z Best. That's a happening rig and so versatile. I'm impressed at the rock tones from the RXES and it's chime for cleaner playing. I've had a few Z's and the RXES is my fav. Dock66 is right, that's one loud rig and an airbrake helps cut down on in the output. Maybe I'm just too old if it's too loud! I use my airbrake on 4 and I can't crank the volume to my sweet spot (11:00 - 12:00) for low level applications. I'm going to put GT #2 or 3 el84s in to see if tames the beast yet keeps those wonderful dymanics. I've just not got around to ordering them yet... I'm also seriously considering putting a weber blue dog 50 watt alnico in an open back 1x12 cab. I've read that it also will allow you to run the amp hotter with a lower volume.

My RXES is a 1x12 open-back combo w/the Weber Blue dog. It's still freakin' loud.
