It's a work in progress.....And part two will have some single-coil strat stuff, and maybe some P90 stuff as well. If there is anything special you all would like me to focus on in the next demo, please share your thoughts.....DIG ! The Cadillac of "Z" amps...... ;D

Awesome playing and tone! I have many requests and questions but I will spare you with them. Mine is supposed to be delivered this coming tuesday so I may be able to answer them myself. But yes some single coil stuff would be way cool.

Silly question...just after the 2:00 minute mark or so it says "...with Overdrive". Is this an external pedal or is this the amps natural distortion? If its the amp alone it sounds great. If its a pedal...I'd like to hear more of the same single note stuff with just the amp distortion. Great demo BTW Keith

If its a pedal...I'd like to hear more of the same single note stuff with just the amp distortion. I was wondering the same thing also? I would assume it is just the amp though. I'm sure he will chime in soon. The cable ends look the same at each end but that only says so much, it could be two of the same cable

The overdrive part is my Danelectro transparent overdrive. I use it all the time....It will break up quite a bit on it's own, especially with the brake-lite and the half power switch. For part two, I'm just gunna work with the amp (no pedals). Sometime I read about people asking if a amp works well with pedals.....As you can see it does. It would be really hard to make this amp sound bad ! Thanks for the feed-back. DR Z is really on top of his game !

Great video and great tone!! Can you tell us about mic and placement for the vid. It's sounds fantastic! Sure, I'm using a Audio Technica 822 stereo mic at ear level, about 8 or 9 feet in front of the amp. These are great mics, I bypass the internal one in the camera....Glad you guys are liking it. PT 2 is on the way !

I know. The video is about 8 minutes long. Forget the last 6 minutes....the first two minutes with just the amp and tremolo are beautiful. Almost makes me want one myself Keith

Nice. I know it's only internet video, but I also preferred the 2x10s on BW's Z-Fest demo.

With the 20 watt option and MV available, why did you also get the BrakeLite with it? I know the MV on my RxJR was so good an attenuator was ALMOST redundant.

Yes, It has the half power 20/40 switch and the brake-lite. The 20/40 switch is pretty dramatic....When in the 20 w mode, the amp is pretty darn dirty. With the brake lite, it is much more gradual....It just gives you a tone of options ......

Perhaps not appropriate for the mission of demoing the amp itself as was your intention but have you tried it through that Leslie you got sitting there in the room?

Just when I thought my amp line-up was complete.
Of course, I watched the other JAZ clips on yootoob. Great clips. Really dig the blue strat bits.
