I have a brake lite in my maz jr and I just bought another one to mount in my 1/12 Dr Z Cab would mounting it in the same way as in the maz be the ideal way to go? I realize I would have to make sure the brake lite cable reaches the Remedy.
I use my cab with the middle panel open so it won't be a problem. Have anyone came up with a better solution for mounting it in a 1/12?
Thanks for your consideration.

I've seen it done that way, I can't come up with a better solution. Unless, you're talking about mounting on the outside or on a seperate piece of wood.

If I were planning to put a BL in one of my 1x12's as a permanent install, I'd cut the plug off and wire it to the jack on the back of the cab, then put a plug on the wiring to the speaker and plug that in to the BL so that the cab could be plugged in as normal. The tradeoff is that you don't get to do a quick remove of the BL if you want to, but I did say permanent.

Right now, I have my brake-lite mounted in the cab of my Z 1x12 like it is mounted in a combo. The cable wasn't long to reach the input of my ghia. Though I am in the process of doing it permanently like benttop mentioned. I was ordering some cables from pcns and sent Todd an email seeing if he could make me a short speaker wire with a plug on one end and speaker clips on the other end. I should have it the by the end of the week.
Only thing I am doing different is I bought a new input jack and am going to hook the cables up to that and keep the existing one intact in case I were to sell the cab, i can just swap it out real quick. Who am I kidding, like I am going to sell it....
Todd is great to work with.
