Informal poll. Not meant to pressure the Doc, he already said the thought was on his mind.

After reading all the replies on the other post about a head version of the Mini Z, I want one, please.

I've unsuccessfully bid on several on "the bay". I'd get one in a second.

I've got an idea...built to order with 1/2 up front. But then again, I already have one.

Boy am I glad I got one when I did! It was on the backburner for me for the longest time, then when I went and picked up my RxES, before I left Trutone Music, I said "wrap me up a Mini, Dave".
Just about the only thing I'd trade it for would be a Z-28 head. Definitely a nice grab and go tone monster.

A mini Z head, I'm telling ya they'd sell like hotcakes. If it had a tone control like the CG, could you imagine having those 2 amps together at a gig? WOW.

If the Mini doesn't come back as a combo, I'll lose out, because I want one to go to rehearsal with, or to play in the living room, not necessarily to set on top of my combo at a gig. Will I be out of luck, or will somebody sell me their Mini combo and buy a new head?

It's not that I didn't want to, it's that I don't have the money, right now. Somebody got it, though (or the seller took it down).

I have a disease called Route 66 Lust, but after hearing some of the Mini Z clips in the Sounds section I think I may have contracted MiniRoute Lust! Seriously though, if the doc brough this amp back I would not think twice about picking one up along with a new 66.

I can hardly wait. A good friend in Bellingham Wa and I were going to get the Bumbox since the Mini was discontinued but neither of us pulled the trigger before Bumbox announced it was being discontinued as the guy landed a good new job and couldn't do both. Actually I'm even happier with the head only and built in attenuation thing I just read about. I could understand some wanting the combo for ease of convenience but it wouldn't take much to throw together a mini speaker cab with a Weber in it. Could probably even rig the 2 to clip together without much trouble for the amp in one hand and ax in the other senario

... the amp in one hand and ax in the other senario That's what I'm looking for, man, but I'm a stock sort of guy. Besides, Doc said Weber discontinued the speaker Doc used for the Mini. I'm sure a combo will turn up at some point, or maybe Weber will offer those speakers again for another combo production run.

Check DR.Z's new state of the Forum post in his section. He says a MiniZ head with built in attenuator is coming soon.

I believe I read that though the 8" Weber obviously worked there was another tap off the tranny that could be used for an 8ohm application. Perhaps this will be one of the features offered on the new head if and when? I'd be on the side of versatility of speaker selection myself

I have just officially asked for a Mini Z for Christmas this year. Now I just have to work on the being-a-good-little-boy part. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled next fall for you guys unloading yours here on the forum to fund YOUR Christmas presents.

I played a Mini Z with the attenuator in it at Doc's shop. We tried it through a number of different cabs including a ZBest, and I could not believe what I was hearing. I'm telling you, he's not going to be able to make enough of them, as they'll be flying off the shelves of every dealer he has.
