Has anyone noticed how many great sounds you can get out of the Mini Z? I was playing around with mine today, different guitars, different control settings on each guitar, and I was blown away at how many different sounds this little amp can do and do well. And that's only an 8" speaker and one volume knob. To me, it sounds better than most larger rigs I've played. I knew I was getting a great amp when I bought it, but it had been a while since I played it and I forgot how versitile this amp can be. Thanks Doc!

Pretty cool huh! I can get a very respectable Eric Johnson tone on tape (so to speak) with my tonefactor hellbilly into the mini. Can also get an almost spot on Beatles Revolution sound with the same set up as well. Recorded it sounds like the control room is about to explode! But in reality it's just a 5 watt amp gnarling away quite politely ;D

Hey Taz, I didn't know you had a Hellbilly. The world is getting smaller and smaller. GREAT PEDAL for sure! Hang on to it, they're kinda rare.

Yes, it sure is! I don't know about the variety of sounds, but the sound I get from it are great. That's from someone who is a dyed-in-the-wool "big-bottler," too. I've never liked an EL84 amp, regardless of output, until this thing! It's great......but what would you expect from a great place like Maple Heights ;D?!?! Because of this Mini Z, I just bought a Carmen Ghia, hoping to get a little more of a great thing. Maybe I could even run them together with an A/B/Y switch.

please let us know how the Ghia fullfils that need. I am in the same situation, I love the Mini, but would like a little more. Then again, in just four weeks I maybe get to try the Ghia, as we now have 1 (!) DrZ dealer in Norway - a few hundred miles away, though..... ;D
