My band set up a gig on a Friday night, which was a big no-no since that is football gameday, so I told them originally I couldn't make it. The weather was terrible that night so the game was postponed, so I ended up going to the show. They hired a friend to fill in for me last minute, so I thought I wasn't going to play, just watch. But when I got there they told me to rush home to go get my stuff My KT is acting funny so in a pinch I brought my Mini and a few pedals: BB Preamp, Crunchbox, Fuzzbender, CE-2, and for kicks I brought my Frantone Peachfuzz which I haven't used in a year and never used live. As soon as the band before us got off, I rushed to set up because I had no idea what settings to use for my amp and pedals. I demo'd my pedals and tweaked as quickly as I could. I set the amp at 3 o'clock, used my BB for high gain (added a lot of bass on the EQ to thicken the sound up) and the Peachfuzz for one song. I didn't use the Crunchbox or the Fuzzbender, which ironically are the two pedals I use w/ my 45 for that band! The other guitarists (the singer and my fill-in) both were playing out of 50ish watt amps through 4x12s, so on stage it was hard to hear even with a lot of my amp in the moniter, but it sounded awesome in the mix! I was worried that the Mini's sound would not fit in a Modern Rock setting but I was wrong! Now I'm second guessing about selling it...

Good job!! ;D As far as modern tones, I use a Keeley TS-9 boosted with a Sniper GE-7 EQ and the thing sound almost(I said almost) like a Recto-"ish"amp. Sound awesome!
