I was wondering If anyone has tried the remedy through a 1/12 cab with a celestion g12h30? I am considering this speaker over the vintage 30. thanks

Isn't that a 30 watt speaker? Might be close. Seems the new Jaz combo is getting one, and it's a 20/40 watt amp, so maybe that tells enough right there.

Yes the g12h30 is a 30 watt speaker I have one in my maz jr and really like the warmth of it. My 4/12 has celestion g12C speakers the same ones in the JH100 Cabs ( Hendrix Tribute amp) and those speakers have that warmth to them as well. I play strat's so I need a speaker that is warmer I know most of the 1/12 cabs come with the vintage 30 and I have heard that some like that speaker with the remedy I may just stick with the vintage 30. thanks faze

I play strat's so I need a speaker that is warmer The G12H is rather bright. To me, it's not known for it's warmth....it's known for it's brightness and big bottom end....and recessed midrange. Have you tried a Greenback? But you'd probably need 2 of them. Maybe not if you use the 20 watt setting.

I tried my maz jr through my 4/12 with celestion g12c's and it sounded fantastic. I do like the tone that I get from the maz with the g12h. I am looking for a good speaker match up for the remedy in a 1/12 cab.

Alot of people are really digging the G12-65 in a 1-12 with the Remedy.

Thanks again for all the responses. After further review and research I went ahead and chose the G12H30 for my 1/12 cab. I purchased the Remedy and should have it by Wednesday. Thanks again for all the feedback... no pun intended..

The Remedy sounded great to me through the 3 cab I tried at Z-fest. Z-best, single 12 with a G12-65, and a closed back with a Gold. I was suprised how good the gold setup sounded.. I tried my strat and my LP and they both responded well... Hope to get my order in soon.. Joel was with me when I did most of my playing (his 245 had great touch response .. haven't played many PRS's..but this model is pretty cool!)..and I also listened to him and 2 others jam though the remedy with different styles...amazing crunchy rock-n-roll blues jamming machine!!
