I played a small, outdoor Wine & Art gig with my 7-piece band last Friday, early evening. I decided to only bring the EZG-50 and my Carvin 4x10 cabinet. For an overdrive pedal, I also decided to travel light and bring only one, instead of the usual 3 or 4. I brought the Tonecandy Double Overdrive (made right here in Santa Rosa, CA). The EZG is one of the smoothest sounding amps I've ever played. It really works well for R&B and disco-type music, which is what this 7-piece band mainly does. But, the band also throws in a few rock tunes (hence the overdrive). The EZG-50 just purred along all night, and had a ton of headroom for anything I attempted. I find it to be quite the work of art! Thanks again, Doc. It made the gig a pleasure to play. MeZadude
