Well I just bought an SRZ 65 LTD, #34. I got it from Curt, so I guess I'm now part of the special club. Until yesterday I had never plugged into an SRZ. I had heard them, but never played through one. I am very impressed with it. I don't know if I have the optimal cab setup for it yet. All I have is a convertible 2x10 and an open back 2x12. I have played it through the 10s so far. It sounds great through them.
I was also impressed at how great it does with single coils. I knew it would be great for a les paul, but the strat is great through it. It cleans up well with the volume knob. The SRZ really feels good with my strat to me.
Got to get packed up for a gig tonight. I'm sure I will report more later.

That's a good one! Treat her right and she'll respond like a finely tuned machine.

Well here is the gig report:
I have played 2 gigs with the SRZ. The one 2 saturdays ago was at a medium sized club. It was a place with several rooms, it used to be a restaurant. I ran the SRZ through my 2x10 convertible cab. I found a good setting where the strat sounded good. nice overdrive but would clean up when i rolled off the volume. That same setting worked great for the les paul, plenty of gain. I didn't really use my pedals much that night. I kicked on the OCD every now and then with the strat for just a bit more sustain.
This past saturday I played a small club and used the same rig as the weekend before. The rig still sounded great, but I had to use my pedals a little more which is to be expected using a 60 watt amp at a small club.
All in all the SRZ fits my feel and style the best of anything I have tried so far. I'm going to run it along with my EZG for larger gigs. just so I can get some clean tones when i want them.

+1! I kept looking at that fabulous amp sitting here not getting used and that made me feel kinda bad. I'm very pleased it's making its own way now.
