I have read a lot of great stuff about the Remedy and I am thinking about purchasing one (I currently own a Maz 18). I really really really love classic rock tones like Zep, Cream, Free, Allman Bros, AC/DC, Mick Taylor etc. My main guitar is a '58 reissue Les Paul.
My main question: I'm wondering if the Remedy can do the old school rock tone as good as the Marshall 1974x or if the Rt 66 is a better fit.

I played my friend's Remedy the other day with his McInturf Carolina. I couldn't really crank it since we were at a party... It was on half-power and it sounded killer. Plugged straight in it seemed very responsive and loud!!!!

If it won't AC/DC it won't do anything heavier than that and sound good
